In Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu stays a four-year-old child named Aaroosh Shaik, who has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. It all started when he experienced breathing issues, upon undergoing a test a tumour was detected.

According to the doctors at Tamil Nadu’s Apollo Cancer Centre (8km from Chennai Central Station), Aaroosh needs to undergo chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, the combined cost of which is Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakh Only).

Aaroosh’s father, Dilver, works as a clerk and is the sole breadwinner in his family of seven. He works as a clerk and lives in a rented house. With his financial resources lacking, Aaroosh was forced to sell his family’s jewellery and took some help from his friends but it still wasn’t enough.
